Winners in Guatemala – Pan Am Circuit 2025

Pan Am Athletes from Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Peru, United States and host Guatemala, won the medals of the Guatemala International Challenge, Pan Am Circuit 2025 event held in Guatemala city from September 30 to October 5.

The Mixed Doubles event had Timothy Lock and Chloe Hoang (CAN) as a winners. They defeated Luis Montoya and Miriam Rodriguez (MEX) in the final to reach the gold medal. Davi Silva/Sania Lima (BRA) and Kevin Lee /Sophia Nong (CAN) reached the bronze medals in this event.

Brazilians Davi Silva and Fabricio Farias got the gold in Men’s Doubles after defeated duos from Canada in the different stages of the competition. They faced Kevin Lee and Ty Lindeman in the final reaching a victory in a 3-games match (11-21, 21-20, 21-17). Bronze medals were for Kiren Deraj & Victor Ho (CAN) and Jose Guevara & Adriano Viale (PER).

Rachel Chan (CAN), Pan Am Junior Games 2025 champion, won the gold in Women’s Singles. She defeated players from Peru, Japan, and USA to reach the podium top. Ishika Jaiswal and Ella Lin from the USA got the bronze medals.

In Women’s Doubles, Jaqueline Lima and Samia Lima (BRA) won the silver medal after defeated duos from Guatemala and Peru but lost in the final against Hatasue/Muroya (JPN). Diana Corleto/Nikte Sotomayor (GUA) and Naomi Junco/Namie Miyahira (PER) reached the 3/4 places.

Mark Alcala (USA) got silver in Men’s singles, being the only player from the region on that podium. He defeated players from India, Canada, Guatemala, and Israel to reach the final but lost against Abeywickrama from Sri Lanka. Bronze medals were for Arian Dinata (CRO) and Misha Zilberman (ISR).

Pan Am Circuit 2025 will continue with the Santo Domingo Open 2025 and Venezuela International 2025 during this month.
