Winners in Bolivia – Pan Am Circuit 2025

Pan Am Players from Brazil, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and host Bolivia, won the medals of the I Torneo Internacional de Badminton Bicentenario 2025, Pan Am Circuit event held in Sucre, Bolivia, from July 23 to 27.

Olympian Kevin Cordon (GUA) added another title to his sporting career by winning the gold medal in Singles. Cordon easily reached the final where he defeated Cuban Roberto Herrera. The bronze medals of this event were for Guillermo Buendia (PER) and Ramiro Esponoza (GUA).

In Women’s Singles, Sabrina Solis (MEX) put her experience to good use and won the gold medal after defeating Naomi Junco (PER) in the final. Taymara Oropesa (CUB) and Francesca Carozzi (PER) reached the Semifinals and got bronze medals.

Sharum Durand and Namie Miyahira (PER) got the gold in Mixed Doubles, after defeating Juan Bencomo/Leyanis Contreras (CUB) in the final match. Brazilians pairs won the bronze medals of the event: Gabriel Zink/Maria Nascimento and Vinicius Ribeiro/Luisa Da Rocha.

Leyanis Contreras and Taymara Oropesa (CUB) defeated brazilians Luisa Da Rocha and Maria Nascimento to win the gold medal. Locals outstanding athletes Juanita Siviora/Fabiana Tolavi and Veronica Condori/Melanie Salvatierra got the bronze medals of the event.

In Men’s Doubles, Gonzalo Castillo and Sharum Durand (PER) got the gold after defeating Guillermo Buendia/Umesh Lescano, also from Peru, in the final. Bronze medals were for Vinicius Ribeiro/Gabriel Zink (BRA) and Juan Bencomo/Roberto Herrera (CUB).

The Pan Am Circuit 2025 will continue with 3 important events during August. The Pan Am Junior Games 2025, the Peru Para badminton International 2025, and the Mexico Future Series 2025.
