First golds

Pilar Jauregui & Jaquelin Burgos (PER) secured the gold medal in WD WH1- WH2 after winning the 3 matches they faced in this event. Also in this event. Ana Gomes & Daniele Torres won the silver medal and Maria Gilda Dos Santos & Auricelia Nunes got the bronze medal.

Miles Krajewski & Jayci Simon (USA) won the gold medal in XD SH6. They won their 4 matches in this event and there is one Round to play for the other pairs to define the other positions.

Finals on the way

Yuki Rodrigues (BRA) and Manuel Del Rosario (CUB) will define the champion in MS SU5. Both will faced each other in the final after defeating, in Semi-finals, Alberto Cadenillas (PER) and Jairo Aranguri (PER) respectively. The peruvians will compete in the bronce medal match tomorrow (Saturday 25).

Manuel Del Rosario – CUB

Ana Reis (BRA) will face Eduarda Oliveira (BRA) in the WS SL4 final match, while Jenny Ventocilla and Olivia Meier will define the bronce medal this Saturday.

Diana Rojas (PER) and Mikaela Almeida (BRA), champion in Lima 2019, are in the WS SU5 final. They won their matches in Semifinals and will fight for the gold medal in the second match they face each other in this event (the first one was a victory for Rojas 2-1). The bronze medal match will be defined by Maria Dias (BRA) and Kelly Ari (PER).

Diana Rojas – PER

Brazilians duos Marcelo Alves/Julio Cesar Godoy and Edmar Barbosa/Rodolfo Cano will define the MD WH1-WH2 champion of Santiago 2023, while Bilenki/Lapointe (CAN) and Fajardo/Vilcachagua (PER) will compete for the 3rd place in the podium.

Abinaecia Da Silva (BRA) and Kuana Beckenkamp (BRA) are the finalists in WS SL3. Adriane Avila (BRA) and Guadalupe Rojas (MEX) will face each other in the bronce medal match.

Kauana Beckenkamp – BRA

In MS SL4, Max Avila (MEX) will face Rogerio Oliveira (BRA) in the final after defeating Johann Breno (BRA) and Pascal Lapointe (CAN) respectively. Breno and Lapointe will define the bronce medal of the event.

The other events will be defined during the Saturday sessions.
