The 2nd National Shuttle Time Festival 2018 was held in the city of Castro, Los Lagos Region. Taking place between November 1 and 4, 2018.
The activity counted with the participation of a hundred students between 7 and 18 years old from 26 schools throughout Chile: Antofagasta, Ovalle, Santiago, Temuco, Victoria, Vilcun, Lonquimay, Osorno, Castro, Achao and Queilen. The activity was framed in a competitive training context, and, as in its first edition, it had the authorities of the regional and communal government.
The reason for the event was that athletes feel part of a sports festival. In addition to competing from 9am to 14pm every day, the organization chose to leave the afternoons free so that the delegations had the facility to know the cultural and patrimonial riches with which the island counts, many of them a world heritage site.
The event, in addition to bringing together many participants and companions, had an excellent media coverage, which ensured that the badminton development in that particular area was finally projected and visualized by a large number of people, thus promoting the local badminton development.
