Para-Badminton Winner in Australia

Pan Am Para-Badminton young promise, Miles Krajewski (USA), won 2 medals at Australia Para-Badminton International 2018, held in Geelong, Australia, on November 22 to 25.

In Doubles, Miles won Silver medal among with Yohei Hatakeyama (JPN). Miles and Yohei beat Luke Missen (AUS) and Jonathan Pratt (ENG) by 21-12 and 21-18, in the first match but lost against Chun Yim Wong and Man Kai Chu from Hong Kong. Anyway, they won the third match against Kobie Donovan and Anthony Koedyk (AUT) and won silver medal.

Miles reached Semifinals in Singles SS6 after finishing second in Group A, where he fell to seeded one Chun Yim Wong (HKG) but beat Kobie Donovan and Luke Missen from Australia. Already in Semifinals could not overcome to seeded 2 Man Kai Chu (HKG) and was left with the bronze medal.

Also, Pan Am Para-Badminton region was represented by Leonardo Zuffo and Johann Breno from Brazil, who had a good participation.

Our Para-Badminton athletes are looking for qualification to Para Pan Games Lima 2019 and better preparation for the Paralympic debut in Tokyo 2020.
