Cuba Badminton Federation continues to spread badminton through the Shuttle Time program.
San Antonio and Artemisa Municipalities have developed sports festivals in the months of January and February where more children have known our sport.
On January 28, the Skills Festival in the Municipality of San Antonio was held with the participation of 18 children from the Libia Goberneur primary school. Professor Ernesto Gomez Machín, recently graduated as Shuttle Time Professor, was the one who shared with the children a fun time, teaching them the basics of badminton.
On February 24 the Municipality of Artenisa also held the Skills Festival where 20 children, from 8 to 12 years of age, of the Carlos Rodríguez Careaga school enjoyed our sport with various recreational activities led by Professor Yosvany Junquera, provincial tutor of the project.
