The Pan American Junior Games will be held next August in Asunción, Paraguay, and the line judges are preparing for this sporting event.
Badminton Pan Am collaborated with the training of new local line judges, who were trained by Flor Biracouritz, BWF line judge, from Argentina.
The participants went through a theoretical phase, followed by a written evaluation, where key topics such as the role of the linesman, the work of technical officials, competitive aspects, and the code of conduct were addressed.
The national tournament subsequently served as a practice space, allowing the candidates to perform in different line configurations. This gave them the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the role and gain a comprehensive understanding of the demands of the position.
This initiative represents significant growth both nationally for Paraguay and the entire Pan American region, by adding more trained individuals committed to the development of badminton.
