Champions in Mexico – Pan Am Circuit 2023

Pan Am Players from Brazil, Canada, Guatemala and United States won medals at the III Mexican International Challenge 2023, Pan Am Circuit event held in Guadalajara, Mexico, from May 2 to 7.

Vinson Chiu and Jennie Gai won the Mixed Doubles gold medal after defeating players from Canada and Germany, including the Pan Am Champion 2023, Joshua Hurlburt-Yu/Rachel Honderich in Semifinals and the seeded 1 duo and Pan Am 2023 runners-up Ty Lindeman/Josephine Wu in the final. Fabricio Farias/Jaqueline Lima (BRA) and Hurlburt-Yu/Honderich won the bronze medals of the event.

Francesca Corbett and Allison Lee took their revenge of the Pan Am 2023 final and defeated the WD champions, Catherine Choi/Josephine Wu in Semifinals, reaching the silver medal after losing against Hobara/Suizu (JPN). The bronze medals were for Choi/Wu and Talia Ng/Wen Yu Zhang.

In Men’s Doubles, Adam Dong/Nyl Yakura and Vinson Chiu/Joshua Yuan won the bronze medals after losing in semifinals against Lundgaard/Vestergaard (DEN) and Geiss/Voelker (GER) respectively.

Wen Yu Zhang reached the silver medal in Singles after defeating players from Israel, Hungary and United States but losing against Manami Suizu (JPN). Ishika Jaiswal (USA) reached the 3/4 position along with Akari Kurihara (JPN).

Kevin Cordon won a bronze medal in Singles after defeating players from Belgium, Canada, Finland and France but losing in semifinals against Jan Louda (CZE), who won the MS title.

The Pan Am Circuit 2023 will continue with the Chile International 2023, Future Series Event which will be held in Santiago de Chile, host of the next Pan Am Games 2023, from May 31 to June 4.
