Champions in Mexico – Pan Am Circuit 2022

Pan Am Players from Brazil, Canada, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico and United States won medals at the XIII Mexican International 2022, held in Guadalajara, Mexico, from November 22 to 27.

Olympian Kevin Cordon won the Men’s Singles title after defeating Jonathan Matias (BRA) in the final. Uriel Canjura (ESA) reached the semifinals but lost against Matias. The other bronze medal was for Alvaro Leal (SPA) who started the tournament from the Qualy stage.

Lauren Lam (USA) won the gold in Women’s Singles after defeating Ksenia Polikarpova (ISR) in the final. Jennie Gai and Ishika Jaiswal (USA) won the bronze medals of the event.

In Women’s Doubles (featured image), Catherine Choi and Josephine Wu reached the podium top after defeating Lauren Lam/Paula Lynn Cao Hok in the final. Bronze medals were for Srivedya Guruzada/Ishika Jaiswal (USA) and Annie Xu/Kerry Xu (USA).

Vinson Chiu and Jennie Gai won the Mixed Doubles gold medal after defeating Joshua Yuan/Allison Lee (USA) in the final. Locals Luis Montoya/Miriam Rodriguez won the bronze medals along with Jonathan Solis/Diana Corleto (GUA).

In Men’s Doubles Vinson Chiu and Joshua Yuan got the silver medal after losing against Král/Mendrel (CZE) in the final. Spanish duos Fernandez/Garcia and Piris/Monroy took the 3/4 places of the event.

The Pan Am Circuit 2022 continues with the El Salvador International 2022.
