For the Championship Title – Pan Am 2019

The XXIII 2019 Pan American Championship will have the best of the Pan American badminton. Canada’s stars, Rachel Honderich & Kristen Tsai will defend the title at this Pan Am 2019. Let’s know out more about the players that will compete in Women’s Doubles.

Champions in last edition, Rachel Honderich and Kristen Tsai want to repeat the gold this year. Canadian athletes competed at BWF tour and are the first duo in Pan Am Ranking. Now, Honderich and Tsai are focused in find their best game and star with succesful the qualification period to Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.

Ariel Lee and Sydney Lee, seeded two, want to win their first Pan Am medal. United States players also competed in Asia and BWF tour adding points and experience for their next challenges.

Peruvian duo, Daniela Macias and Danica Nishimura have bronze and silver Pan Am medals in this modality, but this year, they want to change the position and will compete for their first gold. Macias and Nishimura also are focused in reach a quota for Tokyo 2020 and competed at events in Europe adding experience and looking for their best game level.

This year, Josephine Wu (CAN), champion in 2017 and 2016 and runner-up in 2018 with Michelle Tong, will compete with Catherine Choi (CAN) looking for to be the surprise at the tournament and reach the podium.

Outstanding Pan Am duos, Nikte Sotomayor / Diana Corleto (GUA), Isabel Zhong / Emily Kan (USA), Vanessa VIllalobos / Sabrina Solis (MEX), Bermary Polanco / Nairoby Jimenez (DOM) are some of the best players that will provide an excellent sports show at the XXIII Pan Am Individual Championships 2019 and will show a preview of what we will experience at the Pan Am Games in Lima 2019.

The XXIII Pan Am Individual Championships 2019 will be played from April 25th to 28th at the Gimnasio Olimpico de Ciudad Deportiva de Aguascalientes, Mexico.
