Yesterday March 27, was the entries closing date of the XXII Pan Am Individual Championships 2018, which will be held next April in Guatemala.
After deadline, the presence of the best badminton players from Barbados, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Peru, United States, Suriname, Venezuela and host Guatemala was confirmed.
In the XXII Pan Am Individual Championships 2018 Fixed Height Service law will be applied, just as the BWF announced earlier: “This law specifies that the height for the service will be 1.15 meters from the court surface and will begin to be applied in the individual continental tournaments that will take place in April 2018.”
Ygor Coelho (BRA), Michelle Li (CAN), Kevin Cordon (GUA), Rachel Honderich (CAN), Phillip Chew (USA), Daniela Macias (PER), Jason Ho-Shue (CAN), Taymara Oropesa (CUB) and Lino Muñoz (MEX) are some of the athletes who will exhibit the best of Pan-American badminton.
