The II Male & Female Pan Am Team Continental Championships began with exciting matches in each group.

Canada and United States started the tournament with the right foot when they won in their first matches.
The US Male Team beat by 4-1 Dominican Republic, the team that fought the series until the end, forcing the third game in each game of Doubles, while the US Female Team beat Guatemala by 5 to 0. In addition, the United States male team reached the first place in Group B by winning their second match against host Trinidad and Tobago (4-1).
Canada beat Peru by 5 to 0 in Male competition, while the Female Team won by Walk Over against Dominican Republic.
The Male Team of Jamaica gives the fight in Group B, after overcoming the host (5-0) and getting their second victory against Dominican Republic by 4-1.
Peru also began to score points when winning in second round matches. After losing to Canada, the men’s team beat Barbados by 5-0, while the women’s team beat Dominican Republic (WO).
