The Pan Am Team 2018, organized by the Badminton Pan American Confederation and the Local Federation, will be held in two phases. First, the Group Stage, where the teams from each group will face each other in 5 matches: 3 singles and 2 doubles. The final stage will be defined by Knock-out system, where the winner will be the first to win 3 of the 5 games to be played in each series.

In Male Group A, Barbados, Canada and Peru will contest to access the next round, while in the Group B, United States seems to be the favorite but has in front the best of Jamaica, Dominican Republic and host Trinidad & Tobago who will fight for the first places of the group to qualify to the next stage.
The Female’s competition has the last champion, United States, in Group A and will compete with Guatemala and host Trinidad and Tobago. In the other group, Canada, Dominican Republic and Peru will start the tournament looking to win each game to secure their presence in the next stage of the tournament.
