Pan Am Mixed Team 2019 Is Coming

Eleven countries will compete for the Pan American gold at the XXIII Pan Am Mixed Team Continental Championships 2019, which will take place in Lima, Peru, from February 14 to 17.

Badminton players from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, United States and host Peru will exhibit the best of Pan Am badminton.

Previous edition of Pan Am Mixed Team Championships was won by Canada, who will seek to win the Pan American crown for the eleventh time in a row.
JASON HO-SHUE CANADAThis time they will be led by Jason Ho-Shue and Brittney Tam who already know what it’s to win a Pan-American Championship. For its part, Brazil has great stars of our sport such as the Olympians Lohaynny Vicente, Fabricio Farias and Jaqueline Lima (bronze in Buenos Aires 2018), and with our Pan Am Junior Champion 2018, Jonathan Matias.

Host Peru, with the Olympic player Fernanda SaponaraMario Cuba, bronze in Toronto 2015, and outstanding duo Danica NishimuraDaniela Macías, and Mexico, made up of great players such as Olympian Lino Muñoz, Haramara Gaitan, Job Castillo, among others, will seek to once again be on the Pan-American podium like Guatemala that will be commanded by the outstanding Olympic player and Pan-American champion Kevin Cordon.

Nairoby Jimenez and Nelson Javier lead the Dominican Republic team and will look to surprise in the tournament, as well as Jamaica that will have the participation of Gareth Henry, Katherine Wynter, Samuel O’Brien Ricketts, among others, and Cuba that will play with its maximum star Osleni Guerrero.

Likewise, Argentina and Colombia will delight the tournament with their young athletes who already guarantee a great future for badminton in those countries.
