The first competition day had categories U17, U15 and U13 shining on the field. The longest game was the one that faced Anthony Tso / Au Sharon (CAN) and Gustavo Salazar / Airi Moromisato (PER), where after 53 minutes of play, the Peruvians won their first Mixed Doubles U17 match in this tournament.

Another outstanding match was Erick Trujillo (MEX) against Jose Maria Rendon (PER). 3 exciting games defined the scoreboard at 14-21, 22-20 and 22-20 in favor of Erick, proving that Mexico will be a tough competition in the U13 category, as Regina Gutierrez also won in her first match after 3 games at Mia Ruiz (PER) for 19-21, 21-17 and 21-19.

Outstanding performance also had our athletes from Bolivia, who for the first time participate in a Pan-American Championship, Paraguay, Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago.
