In the framework of BWF General Annual Meeting, on May 17, Badminton Pan American Confederation also had its General Assembly in Bangkok. Thailand, with the participation of the Members of BPAC Executive Committee and Member Associations representatives.
Mr. Vishu Tolan, BPAC president, chaired the meeting which had the presentation of Reports of each Confederation area and the intervention of presidents of the organizing committees of important competitions that our continent will host: XXVII Pan Am Junior Championships 2018, Peru Pan Am Para-Badminton Championships 2018 and Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018.


The Assembly also had a well-deserved recognition to Cuban Miguel Díaz Fernandez for his contribution to the development of our sport in Cuba and throughout the region.
In addition, the members of Assembly had the opportunity to share the experiences, concerns and needs of their Associations with the Vice Presidents, in a Workshop by regions, in order to continue providing the necessary support for the development of badminton in their countries.
