Aiming to the Cup – Pan Am Team 2019

With great intensity, the XXIII Pan Am Mixed Championships 2019 began. Continental tournament held in Lima, Peru, which for the first time will award a cup for the champion.

Team USA closed the day with 2 important victories against Mexico and Jamaica, for Group C of the Pan Am Team 2019. Leaded by Phillip Chew and Jennie Gai (featured), USA won both their tie by 4-1, securing the first place of the group and tomorrow will face Guatemala to define the pass to Quarterfinals. Mexico does not want to be left behind and will look to beat Jamaica in the final game of the group stage.

Brazil leads Group B comfortably after beating Dominican Republic (5-0) and Cuba (4-1) on the first day of the tournament. Cuba also added a victory against Argentina and tomorrow will face Dominican Republic, who won against Argentina too, to seek to advance to the next phase.

Canada and Peru add one victory, each one, today against Colombia. Both team won by 5-0 and tomorrow will fight for the first place of the group A.

Tomorrow we will meet the teams that will continue advancing and will adding points in search of more quotas for Lima 2019.
