Team Event of the XXVII Pan Am Junior Championships 2018, held at the Pan American Judo Center of Salvador de Bahia, Brazil, began with the best Pan Am Junior badminton.
Canada added two victories on the first day of competition. In first round they won 4-1 to host Brazil and in the afternoon they beat Peru 5-0, reaching the first place of Group B. Tomorrow they will face Mexico from 10 am (local time) to seal their qualification to Semifinals.
United States is solid in Group A, defeated Chile 5-0 and tomorrow will play with El Salvador (10 am – local time), a team that lost to Chile by 1-4.
Brazil and Peru will face a very interesting definition, where, according to today’s games, the winner will qualify to Semifinals. Both teams surpassed Mexico on the first day of competition and fell to Canada.
