Badminton Pan Am Confederation (BPAC) informs its Member Associations that the Pan Am Mixed Team Championships (Pan American Cup 2027), originally scheduled as a qualifying event for the 2027 Sudirman Cup Finals, will not take place.
This decision follows a change to the international calendar by BWF, which has allocated Week 7 to the BWF World Tour.
Consequently, qualification for the 2027 Sudirman Cup Finals will be determined based on the World Team Rankings, in accordance with the criteria established by BWF.
Meanwhile, BPAC confirms that the Pan Am Men’s & Women’s Team Championships (Pan Am M&F Cup), which will serve as the continental qualifying event for the 2028 Thomas & Uber Cup Finals, will take place during Week 50 of 2027. The host city and venue have yet to be confirmed and will be announced in due course.
