From April 10 to 12, the BWF Disability Coaching Level 1 Workshop (Module 13) was successfully held in Lima, Peru, organized by Badminton Pan Am with the support of the Peru Badminton Federation.
The workshop was led by experienced Colombian Para badminton coach Dagoberto Corredor, who guided participants through a comprehensive program combining both theoretical and practical sessions.
A total of ten coaches from Chile, Panama, and Peru took part in the workshop, gaining valuable knowledge on Para badminton fundamentals, including the characteristics of different sport classes and specific training methodologies for each category.
Participants showed strong engagement throughout the sessions and expressed high satisfaction with the content delivered, reinforcing the importance of continued education and development in Para badminton coaching across the region.
