The Pan American Badminton Confederation (Badminton Pan Am) successfully concluded the Technical–Tactical Workshop for Coaches, held from November 13 to 15 at Club Regatas Lima.
The program brought together 12 coaches from nine Pan American countries for an intensive training designed to strengthen their technical and methodological capacities ahead of the Lima 2027 Pan American Games.
Led by experienced international coaches Martín Trejo (ARG) and Martijn van Dooremalen (NED), the workshop focused on essential high-performance topics such as:
- Technical and tactical analysis in singles and doubles
- Performance evaluation
- High-performance training session planning
- Coaching intervention during competition
- Practical on-court application with sparring players

This initiative forms part of Badminton Pan Am’s ongoing efforts to reinforce technical development across the region and prepare a stronger, more competitive network of coaches for the upcoming continental cycle.
