 National Player Junior Camp.
Colombia Visits
 
Just finished the Junior Players Camp in Bogota, Colombia were 14 young athletes had the opportunity of getting first hand information and training in our sport. Training in and out of court, together with acquiring new techniques were very helpful to the participants. Also a National Umpire Course was given by Instructor from Pan Am Mr. Cassio Toledo, it was taken by 10 local umpires, who got all the instructions
and updates on Laws and Regulations. We thank the local BadmintonFederation for their support throughout the completition of these events.

Mauritus

MIRATUS - a dream come true!

After years of planing, hard work and strong support finally Miratus came true. We new about this project in Brazil during our last visits,knew of the circumstances of their development, and their strong will to complete the project. On saturday 18 October was the opening of their Badminton Hall, in which we hope they will continue producing Champions in the future, next day it was shown on National television across Brazil! Our congratulations to coach Sebastiao and Gwen on making this dream come true, also to the local companies supporting them.

XIV Pan Am Championships Individual Event

Winners Individuals

GOLD’S FOR PERU AND CANADA

Today finished the individual events at XIV Pan Am Championships in Lima, crowning new Champions in both singles, David Snider from Canada beat Stephan Wojcikiewicz also from Canada in a hard fought match. Claudia Rivero beat Christina Aicardi, both players from Peru in two games.
In doubles William Milroy and Toby Ng beat the young couple from Guatemala, Kevin Cordon and Rodolfo Ramirez; Peruvians Claudia Rivero and Christina Aicardi beat Valerie Loker and Fiona McKee from Canada in a close match. The mixed doubles final was all Canadian, won by William Milroy and Fiona McKee.
